High Dividend Yield CountersUpdated on December 3, 2010

Finally, I have done a computer program to auto calculate the devidend yield. So next time I don't need to manually count 1 by 1. I get the dividend info from http://www.icapital.biz/ and KLSE EOD data from http://www.klseeod.com/. Then import them into my system to perform the calculation. You may noticed there are a lot of stock have bee included in the list. I have added a new column - No Of Dividend Paid in the past 12 mohths. However some calculation may be not correct but I try my best to reduce the inaccuracy.

KLCI closed at 1,500.98 on Friday (Dec 3), stand above 1500 again. And one of my favourite counter  MAXIS declared 8 sens dividend as I have expected.

Sum of past 12 months dividend paid (Jan 10 - Dec 10), minus 25% tax（if applicable）, divided by current share price.

I temporary stop the Dividend Yield Forecast (for the next 12 months) list as I am still writing the program to do it. I am still thinking what else I can do with my data? Perhaps you can recommend to me. :-)

表现评估

好快！2010年只剩下不到一个月了！

每年的这一个月，是我要做员工表现评估（Performance Appraisal）的时候。

我任职于一间国际物流（Logistics）公司，职位是一名经理，掌管IT部门。对下有几名下属，都是Executive，对上有总经理（General Manager）。

表现评估是一名员工加薪幅度、花红数额、晋升机会和培训工作的依据。每当我在评估我下属的表现时，我也会想想我上司如何评估我今年的表现。

做表现评估有时也要有些技巧，如果把自己的下属都评得太差的话，上司就会觉得你管理不当。也不能太好，因要为自己留下可以进步的空间。

当然，赏罚分明是很重要的。员工表现良好，就因给予奖励，如加薪幅度高些或给予升职，因为这会使他们以更高的忠诚度和更好的绩效为公司服务（也等于为你服务）。反之，表现不好者，则必须指正他们，送他们去培训。

我的前上司（前任经理）曾经告诉过我这句话，我一直记住：“不要怕你下属表现比你好，因为他们做得好，就等于你做得好，老板会把这些都归功于你的领导能力。当你下属升职时，也就是你升职的时候了。”

是的， 我很认同这句话，所以也一直受用至今。

回顾我部门今年的整体表现，还算不错的，下属的表现也很好。;-p
