This morning checked the Gold Rate at Maybank2U web site, found the gold prices reached new high again at US$1,314 (equivalent to RM4,314).
由于两年前曾阅读过一篇有关黄金未来的趋势的报道，因而促成我开始投资黄金。算一算，至今的回酬介于１５％左右（平均每年７－８％）。
投资黄金有几个方法，而我认为最直接有效的便是通过黄金存摺帐户(Gold Saving Passbook Account 或Gold Investment Account)。目前好像只有马银行和大众银行有这个服务。
I started my gold investment 2 years ago after I read an article about gold investment and future forecast. Until today, my investment return is approx. 15% (7-8% p.a).
There are several ways to invest in gold, but I think the most convenient way is to open a Gold Saving Account and trade. So far I think only Maybank and Public Bank provide this service.

黄金价格为什么会屡创新高？
What makes the gold prices keep on reaching new high?
这主要有几个原因:-
This mainly due to 3 reasons:-
１）经济因素
市场对世界经济复苏前景仍面临不确定性，再加上美元大幅贬值，基于避险因素的考虑，投资者纷纷选择黄金作为主要的投资对象，推动了金价不断走高。
1) Economic Concerns have prompted a rise in the price of gold. Some investors fear the world could be heading into a second leg of the financial crisis. This result in those investors select gold to avoid risk.
２）黄金需求增加
全球特别是亚洲国家（例如中国和印度），对黄金消费的传统习惯和需求（例如首饰和金币金币）的日渐增加。再加上各国的对黄金储备需求也随着增加，造成黄金价格一直居高不下。
2) High Demand.
３）黄金产量日渐减少
经过几十年的开采，许多金矿已面临枯竭。再加上没发现新的金矿，造成金矿资源面临短缺。
3) Low Gold Mine Output.
总结以上原因，有专家估计，黄金价格在未来五年里会将再涨一倍。
